My name is Omar Glaster. I'm from Vallejo, California. I am 31 years old. my hobbies are drawing, dancing, martial arts, mechanical work, working out, hiking, football, video games, cooking, parties....I guess life its self is my hobby, as I like to enjoy just about everything.

What is an adaptation? most of Hollywood's most famous works are adapted from book or play. Some of my favorites adaptations, I've come to realize, overshadow their source material to the general audience. Children today don't know of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles dark, monochromatic past. Many people my age dont realise that one of the most star studded, successful films of 2002 that was nominated for  6 academy awards was an adaptation of an american graphic novel, that was a loose adaptation of a much older Japanese manga series. That film is called Road to Perdition. Movies like Blade Runner probably stick out more than the book is its based on because it simply sounds better than "Do androids dream of electric sheep?" But which one tells a better story? I guess I'll find out this quarter since I have yet to read that book.
